Privacy Notice
Who we are
This privacy notice explains how personal data is handled when you use Get More Interviews AI. The data controller for this site is SBCorp, trading as Get More Interviews AI (www.getmoreinterviews.co.uk).
Who this notice applies to
This notice applies to people who use the site to analyse a CV, build a CV from scratch, generate supporting application content, preview templates, save drafts, create an account, or contact the site operator.
The data we collect
- Account data such as your email address, password hash, account creation details, and verification status.
- CV data such as your profile information, work history, education, skills, certifications, cover letter text, job descriptions, and other application materials you submit.
- Draft data such as draft titles, selected templates, timestamps, and saved structured CV content.
- Contact data such as your name, email address, subject line, and message content if you use the contact form.
- Technical and security data such as session identifiers, CSRF tokens, anti-spam checks, and rate-limiting records.
How we use your data
- To provide the CV-building, CV-improvement, cover-letter, and template-preview features of the site.
- To create and manage your account, including sending activation codes and allowing you to sign in securely.
- To save drafts to your account when you choose to store them.
- To operate, secure, monitor, and improve the service, including limiting misuse and abusive traffic.
- To respond to support, privacy, account, or general enquiries sent through the contact form.
Legal bases
Where UK GDPR or GDPR applies, personal data is processed on the basis that it is necessary to provide the service you ask for, to manage your account, to respond to your enquiries, and to pursue legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the site. Where consent is required for a specific activity, that activity will be carried out on the basis of your consent.
AI processing and service providers
When you submit CV or job-description content for generation or analysis, that content may be processed by the AI provider and other technical service providers used to operate the site, such as hosting, email, storage, security, and payment providers. Based on the current production setup, the operator is not aware of routine personal-data processing outside the UK. If a provider or future service change requires personal data to be processed outside the UK or EEA, the operator will take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism.
Sensitive information
CVs and job applications can contain sensitive personal data, including information about health, disability, ethnicity, trade union membership, or criminal history. Please avoid including special category or criminal-offence data unless it is genuinely necessary for your application. If you do include it, you are responsible for deciding that it is appropriate to submit it.
How long data is kept
- Saved drafts are kept until you delete them or delete your account.
- Deleting your account removes the account record and associated saved drafts from active storage used by the site, and any remaining Boost credit balance is removed with the account.
- Activation records and verification-related messages may be kept for a limited period needed to operate and secure account creation.
- Contact messages are normally kept only for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and maintain a basic support record.
- Technical security and rate-limiting records may be kept for a limited period needed to protect the service.
Your rights
Depending on where you are located and the laws that apply, you may have rights to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability. You can delete your account within the app, and you can also use the contact form for privacy-related requests. Where applicable, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Children
This service is not intended for children under 16. If you are under 16, do not create an account or submit personal data through the site. If the operator becomes aware that personal data from a child under 16 has been submitted, reasonable steps should be taken to delete it.
Security
The site uses measures such as password hashing, session controls, CSRF protection, and rate limiting. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and you should only use the service if you are comfortable submitting the information required for the features you use.
Changes to this notice
This privacy notice may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the service, legal requirements, or the way personal data is handled. The latest version will be published on this page.
